Hello everyone;

I am moving on to a new chapter in my life.(Please see attachment)  I am closing my doors after 20 years in the fashion business.  I am of mixed feelings about closing, but I had made the decision so July 31st is the day!

Our final sale starts Thursday, July 10th with savings of 50% to 70%.

SPRING / SUMMER 2008

"THIS SEASON ANYTHING GOES!"

The New Looks:

* Natural - look for organic cottons, linens and bamboo.
* Shorts, ankle pants and long trousers have been given a lovely width, folds and a higher waist.
* Tops -still longer but with delicate detailing like ruffles, pin tucks, piping and metallic threads.
* Jackets - shorter with peplums and 3/4 sleeves.
* Light denim - a cool, casual fee lfor Spring.
* Trenchcoats - a must-have for this season.
* Full skirts - swingy fabrics and cinched at the waist with either a slim or wide belt - the choice is yours!

COLOURS

* Brights - yellow, coral, blue and green in solids plus floral prints - colours with impact!
* Subdued shades of grey and black make a strong statement - just add a dash of vivid colour!
* Warm earthy tones.
* White and navy with white.
* Black (of course)

FINISHING TOUCHES - THE ACCESSORY REPORT!
"Accessories are the most fun you can have with your clothes on"

* Less jewellery this season but bigger and more vibrant pieces. Designs have African and Middle Eastern sources.
* Necklaces in varying lengths remain strong as do chunky bangles and cuffs.
* Hoop earrings - oversize- both plain and decorated with gemstones.
* Belts are back - slim and metallic - and important to wear with the longer tops, dresses and skirts.
* Scarves and shawls continue to be popular in animal print and brights.
* Gentlemen’s influence - fedora hats.
